What's Your Favourite Musical?

I thought I would ask since I've seen Wicked....

Mine is Rocky Horror. It's sequel Shock Treatment would be a close second as the songs are better, but plot doesn't quite match up and desperately needs to be remade. But I think Rocky Horror has a timeless plot with gender bending aliens and fluid sexuality. Most of the songs still stand up now as it has that timeless rock n roll feel.

"Rocky Horror" is a great one, for sure.... and it's a favorite of one of all 3 of my kids, so I've been to more Midnight screenings of it than I can count! ;)

Not sure if I can pick just one favorite, but "Rent" would certainly be high up on the list! My youngest is obsessed with musicals and I've become quite fond of two of her favs - "Hamilton" and "Dear Evan Hanson".

Good one!! :thumbs (It isn't one that pops into my mind as being a musical either... just such a great film, I guess.)

It's surprising how many songs are in it. Even the shop keeper has a song "the candy man can!" but the best is "I've got a golden ticket" hehe

I'm a fan of the Ooompa Loompa songs, myself.... but then that is my favorite part of the book, as well. ;)
